Sometimes in a confusing world the only way to express feelings is through words on a page. I spent years trying to understand my feelings through words on paper. There are times I still do. This short poetry book was a labor of love, sadness, heartbreak, and fear from my teen years up until my mid twenties.

Growing up, Jenna Matthews had what most people would call a decent life, but beneath the surface she always felt like an outsider in her own family. Like there was an invisible barrier she couldn’t breach, no matter how hard she tried. It wasn't until she met Gabe, that she finally found the acceptance, belonging, and love she’d yearned for her entire life.
